| My car's problem had ben diagnosed by another shop, but that shop didn't have the equipment to address that issue. A friend suggested EAS, and I had the car taken there. I carefully explained what the other shop had determined, and my whole recitation was completely ignored. I received a call 24 hours later telling me they had checked 2 potential problems, 2 potential problems I specifically had told the receptionist that the other shop had already eliminated. But that didn't matter, she now said. They had needed to check themselves, I now owned them $240, and they were going to have to do at least another $240 worth of diagnostics to try to determine what the problem might be. At that point I took the car back. |
